All visitors and visiting "societies" are always most welcome at the Club. Visitors, say up to groups of 4,are advised to book their visit in advance by telephoning the Professional's Shop (Tel. 01625 828242) to ensure that there is space on the course for them to play. There are "reserved members' times" when visitors can only play with a member and these times vary during summer and winter. Visitors, not playing with a member, are not allowed to play at weekends. Golfing Societies wishing to book their event should refer to the information below, or telephone the Secretary/Manager (Neville Young) - 01625 828241.

Dress Code

May we respectfully remind visitors that, in common with most traditional golf clubs, there is a strict dress-code at the Club which visitors are asked to observe. No jeans, no trainer-shoes and all shorts should be tailored and worn with knee length socks. Players breaching this code may be asked to change or leave the golf course. 

Visiting Societies

Societies are very welcome at Prestbury Golf Club and our usual 'Society Day' is Thursday, with a small number of smaller groups (max. 24) being accommodated on Friday mornings. When the group consists of 31 players or more, the Green Fee is discounted by 10%. All visiting societies are expected to stay for an evening meal and sample menus are available from the office.

The club takes a great pride to ensure that our visitors really enjoy their day, and feedback results regarding the course condition, service of our staff, quality of food and drink, cleanliness and all other facilities have regularly recorded a score of 10/10 over the past 5 years. We recommend that societies book early to avoid disappointment.

Open Competitions

The Prestbury Open:  A 36-hole Scratch competition open to all golfers with a maximum handicap of 5. (Date yet to be confirmed)

Seniors' Mixed Open: Thursday 18th August 2011
