Our Local Rules have been revised to comply with the new Rules of Golf:

OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 18.2)

Out of bounds is defined by the line between the course-side points at ground level of white
stakes and fence posts. Out of bounds is also defined by any boundary of the course area.

In the Clubhouse area including the car parks, connecting roads, putting green on or
beyond the white lines on the Carriage Drive and beyond the nearest inside points at ground level of the white stakes and/or white lines/discs.

The boundary to the left of 15th hole is defined by the small ditch/channel running parallel
to the road.

PENALTY AREAS (Rule 17)

Penalty areas are defined by either red or yellow posts.

When playing the 3rd, 11th and the 12th holes the wooded area to the left hand side of the
holes is a penalty area and is marked with red stakes.

The red penalty area on the right hand side of the 12th hole extends to and coincides with
the out of bounds edge.

The stream to the left hand side of the 16th hole is a red penalty area which for practical
reasons is not marked with red stakes. The margin of the penalty area is defined as
where the ground breaks.

ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS (Rule 16)

Immovable obstructions (Rule 16.1) – The Carriage Drive, cinder or other artificial surfaced paths, artificial steps, manhole covers, sprinkler heads and drainage grids.

The wall in front of the cottages at the 6th hole and the path to the left hand side of the 14th hole is an integral part of the course.

The footpath crossing holes 1,6,9,14 and 18 is a PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY.

SUSPENSION OF PLAY (Rule 5.7 b)

A suspension of play for a dangerous situation will be signalled by one prolonged blast of
the siren.

All other suspensions will be signalled by three consecutive blasts of the siren.

In either case, resumption of play will be signalled by two short blasts of the siren
