Experienced Greenkeeper and Apprentice Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Prestbury Golf Club.
Prestbury G.C is ranked number 70 in National Club Golfer and 92 in the Top 100 in England and is located in East Cheshire close to Macclesfield.
The course is undulating in nature, with sandy soil and is Parkland / Heathland characteristics.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is looking to progress his / her career.
Experienced Greenkeeper – The successful candidate will have at least 2 years experience, a minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, along with relevant spraying and chainsaw qualifications. Interest in golf is preferred but not essential.
Candidates must have the ability to work to the highest standards, demonstrate good team ethos and the ability to work on his/her own or with members of the team. Future training and education will be offered to the right candidate.
Salary is negotiable dependant on age and experience.
Apprentice – The Club is also looking to recruit an Apprentice Greenkeeper. This would ideal suit someone who is 18 years old or above with an interest in golf, working within a team structure and looking to progress through in house and formal training.
